Green Marketing
Over the past few months a number of South Downs Tourism Network members have asked us how we could help with the marketing and promotion of green tourism. So in mid February Tourism South East helped us organise two 'Marketing Your Green Credentials' seminars to look at how tourism businesses could promote their green credentials either as individual enterprises or as a green marketing group.
The presentation given by Claire LaLaguna of Satellite MPR can be viewed by clicking on the link below.

Tourism businesses who attended responded fantastically with all 17 signing up to explore the potential for a South Downs Green Marketing Group. They recognised that as part of a group their time and money could be spent more effectively.
At the next two Green Business Club meetings we will be discussing the exciting potential for South Downs Green Marketing Group - the more green businesses involved the smaller the costs per head for joint green marketing and promotion.
We will offer another 'Marketing Your Green Credentials' seminar to all green tourism businesses that have previously missed out. A specific Green Business Club meeting will also be arranged for interested business to discuss how to take the idea of a South Downs Green Marketing Group forward.
If you have green credentials - like a Green Tourism Business Scheme award, or have attended a Green Advantage training course or simply want to know more about going green and being part of the South Downs Green Marketing Group just call Dave Hughes on 01622 727472 or Nicola Redwood on 01243 558705.
